Mari Cheney is a research librarian at Perkins Coie LLP. Prior to joining Perkins Coie, she worked at Lewis and Clark Law School for over 11 years in various reference, teaching, and management roles. She was also the reference librarian at the Utah State Law Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mari has a B.A. in English from Walla Walla University, a J.D. from Washington College of Law at American University., and an M.L.I.S. from the University of Washington. She has written about her personal experience as a librarian working with a hearing impairment, teaching neurodivergent students, and was the faculty advisor to the Disability Allied Law Student Association.
