Paul Callister is the Director of the Leon E. Bloch Law Library at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, a position he has held for over two decades. He also serves as a Professor of Law, currently teaching Copyright Law, Developing Legal Research Skills, and Artificial Intelligence and the Law. Paul holds a B.A. from Brigham Young University, a J.D. from Cornell Law School, and an M.S.L.I.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His academic contributions have been recognized with the 2021 UMKC Law Marvin Lewis Rich Award for legal scholarship and teaching over the past three years, and he is a two-time recipient of the UMKC Law Brenner Award for legal scholarship. Paul has served twice on the AALL Copyright Committee, once as its Chair.
