Clare is the Coordinator of Educational Outreach and Research and Instructional Services Librarian at the Pritzker Legal Research Center, Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. She co-wrote the recent article Pyrrhic Victories: The Mirage of Winning at the Supreme Court, 109 Iowa Law Review 661 (2024), an article that explores court records to uncover what happened to the defendants in several United States Supreme Court cases after their supposed win. The article highlights how the difficulty of obtaining court records obscures the truth of what happened to those defendants. Clare has assisted countless other law professors and law students with their docket and court record research in her career. Clare also teaches Northwestern law students about docket research in her Advanced Legal Research course. She and panelist Shari Berkowitz-Duff presented a program on State Dockets Research focused on Chicagoland courts in May 2023 for the Chicago Association of Law Libraries.
