Rebecca Plevel, citizen of the Muscogee Creek Nation, is a Reference Librarian at the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, Law Library where she teaches legal research in the first year Legal Writing and Research program. She also conducts community outreach to local libraries and the Bench and Bar on issues of access to information and access to justice. Rebecca practiced law in Arizona for many years before becoming a law librarian, many of those years she was in-house or worked on contract with various Tribal Nations. Rebecca received her BA, JD and MLIS all from the University of Arizona.
