Modeled off the popular Cool Tools Café, this program focuses on FCIL Cool Tools: existing and emerging technologies that academic, firm, and government librarians use to research foreign and international law, gather information about foreign corporations and institutions, translate documents written in foreign languages, monitor events occurring in foreign countries, and collaborate with colleagues overseas. Join us for live demonstrations in a round-table format!

Learning Objectives:

Participants will test existing and emerging technologies for foreign, comparative, and international law research and practice.
Participants will evaluate these technologies in a small group setting and will assess how these technologies support the teaching, research, and/or practice mandates of their home institutions.
Participants will apply the experience gained during the program to: guide collection development decisions, (re)design teaching/training materials, and improve research strategies.
