Amy Small is the Executive Director of the State Law Library in Austin, TX. She received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her MLIS from the University of North Texas. She is fortunate to have spent her entire library career at the State Law Library, focusing on providing legal information to Texans all across the state. During her time there, she has held various roles, including Document Delivery Librarian, Electronic Services Librarian, Chief Fiscal Officer, and Assistant Director.

Professionally, her focus is on expanding access to justice across the State of Texas. She is a proud member of the Government Law Libraries Special Interest Section, where she has served as a board member-at-large. She was recently elected Vice Chair/Chair-Elect and looks forward to serving the community in that role.
