Kathleen (Katie) Brown received her library degree from Drexel University. In 2005, she completed her JD with an emphasis on intellectual property law. While in law school, Katie was a Seattle University Law School library intern and a volunteer with Washington Lawyers for the Arts.
Her commitment to the intersection of legal technology, education, and ethics in law was acknowledged and celebrated in 2024 when she and her oft co-author received the inaugural Technology & Ethics Award from the AALS Section on Technology, Law & Legal Education.
Before focusing on law librarianship, Ms. Brown shared her passion for the performing arts as an acting instructor in the Chicago Area.
