Eric J. H. Chapman is the Assistant Pasadena Branch Librarian for the U.S. Courts for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to this role, he practiced civil defense litigation in Washington and served as a judicial law clerk in Alaska for the Anchorage District Court and Juneau Superior Court. He holds a J.D. with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Lewis & Clark Law School, a M.L.I.S. with a Certificate in Law Librarianship from the University of Washington, and a B.F.A. in Dance from Arizona State University. His current reasearch and scholarship focuses on copyright law and professional ethics. Beyond the library, Eric is an avid runner, cyclist, and wine enthusiast.
