George H. Pike is the Director of the Pritzker Legal Research Center and a Senior Lecturer at the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. Serving one of the nation’s elite law schools, Prof. Pike provides policy direction and administrative management for a wide-ranging library operation with a staff of over twenty professional and staff employees and a budget of over $3 million. As Senior Lecturer, he has taught skills and substantive courses in JD and Master’s programs.
Prof. Pike has taught legal research, intellectual property and privacy courses at the School of Law in both the J.D. and Northwestern’s innovative Master of Science in Law program and its companion Master of Science in Law ONLINE program and has been a visiting professor at the Peking University School of Transnational Law in Shenzhen, China and on Semester at Sea. Prof. Pike is a frequent lecturer on issues of First Amendment, copyright, and Internet law for library and information professionals.
