Jonathan Franklin is the Digital Innovation Librarian at the Gallagher Law Library at the University of Washington. He has over 25 years of experience in the library and information science field and has held a variety of positions, including Reference Librarian, Assistant Librarian for Library Services, and Associate Dean for Library and Information Systems. He received his JD from Stanford Law School and his MLIS from the University of Washington.
Jonathan is passionate about using technology to improve access to information and to support the research and teaching of law students and faculty. He is a frequent speaker and writer on topics related to copyright, art law, cultural property, law library artificial intelligence, and legal informatics.
