Amanda Bolles Watson is the Assistant Dean of Library and Information at Harvard Law School. She was formerly the Director of the O’Quinn Law Library and an Associate Professor at the University of Houston Law Center. Before UH, Amanda was part of the team at Tulane Law School in New Orleans where she was the Associate Director of the Law Library and a Lecturer in Law. Before Tulane, she spent many years in the private sector at Phelps Dunbar, LLP. She also served as the State Librarian of Mississippi. Her research focuses on the intersection of technology and law librarianship. Amanda has a JD from the University of Mississippi and an MIS from Florida State University. She lives with her wife Elizabeth, and their two sons George and Tom.
