Becka Rich is the Assistant Dean for the Law Library and Technology Services at the Kline School of Law and an Assistant Teaching Professor of Law. She specializes in the intersection of law, disability, technology, and education. Dean Rich teaches compliance-focused courses in the MLS and JD programs, including AI and the Law, Disability Law, and Education Law. Her research centers on legal pedagogy and AI and supporting neurodivergent law students with artificial intelligence.
Dean Rich presents on AI, ethics, and pedagogy at conferences such as AALS, ABA Tech Show, and AALL. She serves on Drexel University's Standing Committee on Artificial Intelligence and has co-chaired the working group subcommittee on AI and pedagogy. Her dedication to teaching and pedagogy mentorship is highlighted by her selection for Drexel’s 2024 Teaching Academy with the Teaching and Learning Center.
