Jean M. Wenger

Director of the Law Library/Teaching Professor
Chicago-Kent College of Law

Jean M. Wenger is the Director of the Law Library and a Teaching Professor at the Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago. Before joining Chicago-Kent, Wenger spent nearly 30 years of her professional career at the Cook County Law Library in Chicago, most recently as Deputy Law Librarian and previously as Head of Public Services and Government Documents/Foreign and International Law Librarian. She was president of the American Association of Law Libraries (2012-2013) and its Chicago chapter (2004-2005). In 2023, she was inducted into the AALL Hall of Fame. She is currently Treasurer of the International Association of Law Libraries (IALL). Wenger’s scholarship and teaching experience have focused on foreign & international law research and technology. She has presented at local, national, and international legal and library conferences.
